One statewide online practice
Sheyla is based in Largo and provides telehealth for eligible patients across Florida. You can attend from a suitable private space in places such as Tampa Bay, Orlando, South Florida, or elsewhere in the state. These are service areas, not additional office locations.
Let the practice know if you will travel before a scheduled visit. A Florida address or insurance plan does not replace the requirement to be physically in the state at the time of care.
Choose the service and language you need
A psychiatric evaluation is a starting point for understanding concerns and discussing recommendations. Individual therapy provides a dedicated conversation around your goals. Medication management is a separate service for evaluation and follow-up when medication is appropriate.
English and Portuguese appointments are available. Tell the scheduling provider which language and service you prefer, and confirm age eligibility and whether online care is appropriate for your situation.
Before you connect
- Choose a quiet, private place where you can speak freely.
- Have a device with working video and sound and a stable internet connection.
- Keep your appointment instructions, medication list, and questions nearby.
- Confirm self-pay fees or your insurance benefits through the correct booking platform.
When another setting is needed
Telehealth is not suitable for every need. An assessment may lead to a recommendation for in-person evaluation or a different level of care. This practice is not an emergency service. In the U.S., call 911 for immediate danger or a medical emergency, or call or text 988 for crisis support.
